I got a quote today and was told that it would be 375 for all around windows except the windshield. I was quoted 750 for 3m ceramic tint. You re paying about 600 total to tint every window on the car but it will block heat from entering the vehicle and keep the interior significantly cooler in the summer. If price isn t an issue we would highly recommend that you choose ceramic tint over metallic metallized tint.

The ceramic tint costed me 350 more than the normal mid grade tint i used. Even a clear ceramic film instead of actual tint can do a lot for interior temperatures. If this is a lease or will otherwise get replaced in the next 3 or 4 years just get the cheap stuff. Ceramic really gets the job done though as long as you didn t buy chinese film for 35 cents a yard and got a good install.

The shop is very highly rated with tons of reviews and pictures they re quoting 250 for their base tint 350 for 3m color match non ceramic and 750 for 3m ceramic. Ceramic tints are the absolute best but they are also significantly more expensive. It is a ceramic film but i have never had installed tints onto my car before so i have no idea what a reasonable price would be to get these done. Total cost of my 2011 mustang gt was around 600 after tax.

If you re going to keep the car for more than a few years it s worth getting the good ceramic tint so it doesn t turn purple and need to be replaced. At first i thought i might ve regretted it but after a few very hot days in summer i noticed such a big difference in internal temperature while driving. I m pretty sure i m going with the 350 option since i live in a place that doesn t get much sun anyway and ceramic is likely overkill. Metal dyed hybrid window tint film combines dyed and metallized layers which provide excellent protection from uv rays glare and help reduce the amount of heat that passes through the film.
